I see lot of "NT" bashing in the autism communities. I know some autistic kids can lash out at you when you keep picking on them. They get so frustrated they attack. It's how the express themselves. They might have meltdowns before going to school because they don't want to go due to bullying. NT stands for neurotypical and it usually means people without autism. I hate the term because everyone is different and has their own problems. Normal is so over rated. They may not express their feelings like a "normal" person would but they do have feelings. Any child who would bully another child, with or without special needs, should be disciplined. In addition, since kids with autism have trouble reading emotional cues, hurtful behaviour can further confuse the issue, making their behaviour more inappropriate. and since many autistic kids explode since they have an inability to communicate their difficulties, this can give the autistic child a bad reputation as well.
