I’m a mother of autistic boy who hits himself “self injurious behavior” (see cdfoakley and kgaccount on youtube) so to see someone hit an autistic person is disturbing….

and why didnt the TA beat the shit out of her right there? throw a chair at the whore’s head. i am advocating violence. violence is sometimes the answer. the TA should have gotten medieval on her bitchy ass. i dont care if she had a bad childhood or anything like that, once you do something like this, your hard life no longer matters. its on now bitch. i have ADHD, i was bullied by teachers, im calling for some mafia like action on her

The principal of this school just received a two thousand dollar bonus in salary for meeting goals such as nurturing a welcoming school environment, allocating school resources wisely and embracing district improvement efforts.
OMG, I’m in shock. How can someone be so cruel, that poor kids. My son is severely autistic but I would never do to him what this woman just done and she isn’t even his mother. It sickens me.
Oh my. To see abuse like this from a teacher is horrific enough even if it happened to a normal child let alone one with mental disabilities. That is inexcusable and she needs to be fired from ever teaching another child again, ever. She has already proven that she cannot be trusted.
I have a son that is autistic and I know how stressed you can get, but would NEVER hit him or talk to him that way. It takes a special person to take care of a person with autism. Most people with autism do not understand the cause and effect of a situation so this was way out of hand.
jesus christ! who in their minds would want to harm a child who cant defend himself (or even an average child)?! i too have Autism (ASD) and i had terrible times at school and rejected by peers and even some teachers. its no excuse to harm a special needs child as they cant help themselves and they are scared (trust me ive been through that phrase).the teacher can go to hell for all i care im glad the she is going to court, i hope the parents (your friends) are doing ok, send them my sympathy :]

This is terrible. NO KID, your average or not, EVER deserves to be treated this way. This is NOT an appropriate way to assist in correcting or to intervene any bad behaviors at school, and this teacher shouldn’t be licensed to teach. In fact, a negative environment like this would only make things worse for a child with difficulties in school. This teacher makes me sick.
lol this lady’s so LAME. on a news report, there was actually a guy DEFENDING her, saying that she was under STRESS. pshh. two wrongs fo sho don’t make a right. but yeh, it’s good that the guy videotaped it, or noooo one would have known.

The person that filmed this was an intern, a young man, employed by the school district. People have had such a variety of emotions about the part he played. No, he didn’t stop it but he did tape it after witnessing this kind of behavior from this teacher. Saying better late than never isn’t the appropriate thing to say because it should have been stopped immediately, but if he would have never done anything or turned over the tape, the teacher would still be teaching instead of being fired.
Who’s the asshole filming it and not stopping it???? Lots of sick people out there, its sad how some people who should know better treat these children like this.

This teacher was over the top and created a very sad situation that should have been advoided. Where was the adminstration of this school. This had to be an ongoing problem that was ignored. Time to get new adminsrtation in that school, Adminstration is in a school to check for teacher climate and helping them resolve their problems way before it reaches this level. Shame on the teacher and the adminstration.
I’m autistic and at the age of 11 I was pretty much feral. If she had done that to me 8 years ago she would have gotten a beatdown.
The kid’s taking it surprisingly well but I would have loved an excuse to bite someone then.
Scary!!! Yeah if you think this is bad… I watched a 2 hour documentary on “Mentaly Disables Kids” in former Ugoslavia countries… They are not fed, neglected, abused, tortured, beaten to death… I have nightmares from watching that documentary…. Worse than any horror film i’ve seen… I’m forever sorry for Mentally disabled kids
my best friend has a son with autism … and if this happened to him i am sorry to say that all three of us (my best friend+her husband+me) would be locked up for assualt!!!
